Our Story
Located in the jungle in rural Costa Rica our pre-k though 11th grade school provides the only environmentally based, progressive and bilingual educational option for the children of our community.

Our Problem
We have grown from 3 students in 2008 to over 140 students today with a diverse school community made up of local Costa Rican kids and international expatriates. Our vision and mission is to provide rigorous academics focused on the environment and an international awareness promoting a creative educational culture which respects individual students and forms future leaders.  Above all, we hope to promote peace and to bridge a link between the diverse communities of this region and to open this opportunity to ask many needy qualified students as we can but within our operational budget we cannot offer any more scholarships than we currently do.

Our Need
We wish to offer financial assistance to a backlog of qualified applicants and to open the door of opportunity through bilingual education to as many deserving students as we can.
Our Goals:
Immediately - to raise $20,000 to fund the full scholarship of 4 students.
Within two years - to raise another $50,000 to build fund to secure the future education of current scholarship students.
